Automation solutions for oil and gas terminals

Honeywell provides comprehensive measurement solutions designed to help achieve the precision you need.

• Our Small Volume Provers (SVP) and controllers are designed to support accuracy requirements for custody transfer applications.
• The Enraf tank gauging systems provide accurate level measurement using both servo and radar technologies, providing data to support transfer calculations.
• Terminal Manager software automates custody transfer workflows, integrating measurement data from multiple sources to help reduce manual errors and improve throughput.

The system processes data from flow meters, tank gauges, temperature sensors and other field instruments to calculate transfer quantities with a high degree of accuracy. With automatic data logging and reporting, you can maintain detailed records to support audit requirements.

Terminal safety depends on multiple layers of protection throughout loading and unloading operations. Honeywell's terminal automation solutions provide monitoring and control capabilities designed to help reduce risks. Increased monitoring through our tank gauging and level measurement systems may help reduce spill incident frequency by providing operators with near real-time data to support monitoring decisions.

Automatic permissive inputs are designed to help stop the loading process before an incident occurs, verifying that all safety conditions are met before transfer begins. The Lidec liquid level switch is designed to provide high-level detection and overfill protection, while the HERMetic range is designed to enable safe measurements in Zone 0 classified environments. Terminal Manager integrates safety systems throughout your operation. Alarm and event management through Experion helps teams respond quickly to developing situations.
