Durable, Precise Positioning Across Industrial Operations

Built to perform in the most demanding industrial environments, HercuLine electric actuators offer dependable, durable and accurate positioning for dampers and quarter-turn valves. They can also simplify system integration, helping organizations monitor performance and respond quickly when conditions change.

Precision positioning with non-contact sensing

Our advanced non-contact position sensing technology helps eliminates mechanical wear points that can affect accuracy over time. Digital feedback mechanisms help maintain consistent, repeatable precision throughout each actuator's service life.

0.2% repeatability across full span.
Instant start/stop motor response.
Reduced dead time and overshoot.
Non-burnout continuous duty motor. ¹

Easy integration with control and management systems

HercuLine actuators can connect smoothly to building management systems and industrial controls. HART and Modbus RTU communication protocols offer flexibility for both existing infrastructure and future system upgrades. Personnel can also adjust actuator parameters remotely without manual intervention.

Plant-wide system integration.
Programmable output relays.
Remote parameter access.

Versatile solutions for multiple applications

We designed our actuators for deployment across diverse applications and temperature ranges. The wide operating range and multiple torque options can help reduce inventory complexity while meeting varied control requirements across facilities.

Dampers and butterfly valves.
Operating range: -40°F to 185°F.
Torque: 50 to 400 in-lb (2000 Series).
Torque: 10 to 300 lb-ft (10260 Series).¹

Simplified maintenance and long-term reliability

Our actuators’ robust construction and self-monitoring capabilities can mean fewer service calls, reduced downtime and longer intervals between inspections. When maintenance is necessary, our field technicians can help diagnose and address issues quickly.

Simplified field configuration.
Continuous duty operation.
100-hour stall capability.
Programmable diagnostic relays.

Frequently Asked Questions About Electric Actuators

We designed our actuators for low maintenance to help reduce downtime and lower operational costs. Most HercuLine installations require only periodic visual inspections.

Self-diagnostic monitoring instantly alerts operators to potential issues.
Motor designed for 100-hour stall without damage.
Maintenance data accessible via Modbus or HercuLink software.
Accumulated runtime tracking for predictive maintenance.

When service is needed, the modular design helps technicians replace components quickly without removing the actuator from the valve or damper.¹

¹HercuLine Electric Actuators

Most installations require under 30 minutes per actuator. This timeline includes mounting, wiring and initial calibration. The simplified setup helps reduce project installation costs and accelerate system startup. The Enhanced Electronics Unit offers:

Pre-configured control settings.
Direct mount option to help eliminate linkages.
RS485/Modbus quick-connect.

Standard mounting patterns can work with existing infrastructure. The HercuLink software offers step-by-step commissioning guidance. For retrofit projects, the direct coupling option can eliminate the need for mechanical linkages, further reducing installation complexity.²
