Modernize your building controller infrastructure

Built-in cybersecurity is designed to help protect operational technology and close backdoors to IT networks. Hardware-rooted security measures extend from edge devices through cloud connectivity. Controllers provide comprehensive visibility and threat detection capabilities while maintaining operational continuity. Cybersecurity is built into the hardware design rather than added as an afterthought, helping provide foundational protection.

Yes. Honeywell controllers feature native BACnet Building Controller profiles and support open protocols for interoperability. Niagara framework integration provides both Ethernet and Serial connection options. The vendor-agnostic approach works with third-party equipment and legacy infrastructure. Controllers are designed to help maximize existing investments while adding new capabilities and maintaining flexibility as technology evolves.

Honeywell controllers are designed with native support for multiple protocols and open frameworks. Optimizer Advanced Controllers incorporate the Niagara framework, providing both Ethernet and Serial integration options while supporting native BACnet Building Controller profiles. Our vendor-agnostic approach works with third-party equipment from multiple manufacturers, helping simplify integration across mixed-protocol environments. Controllers communicate via open protocols including BACnet, and LONWORKS, enabling connection to devices across vendors. Organizations can standardize with Honeywell controllers while preserving investments in existing infrastructure, helping reduce migration risk and maintaining operational continuity during upgrades.

Flexible I/O modules help streamline both initial deployment and ongoing operations. I/O modules with flexible control across different applications reduce the need for custom configurations on each installation. Freely programmable architecture adapts to changing building needs, helping reduce the time and cost associated with system reconfiguration or replacement. Smart commissioning tools via Optimizer Supervisor and related apps help technicians configure and verify systems more efficiently, reduce engineering time during deployment and simplify maintenance when modifications are needed.
